Juridical Yearbook

This yearbook contains documentary texts of treaties and other materials concerning the legal status and activities of the United Nations and related inter-governmental organizations. It also presents the judicial decisions on questions related to the Organization. A bibliography on jurisprudence is included.

The Yearbook contains documentary materials of a legal character concerning the United Nations and related intergovernmental organizations (IGOs). The present volume covers activities in 2013 and contains: legislative texts and treaties, or provisions thereof, concerning the legal status of the UN and related IGOs; a general overview of the legal activities of the UN and related IGOs; selected treaties concerning international law concluded under the auspices of the organizations concerned; selected decisions of administrative tribunals of the UN and related IGOs; selected legal opinions of the UN and related IGOs; a list of judgments, advisory opinions and selected decisions rendered by international tribunals; selected decisions of national tribunals relating to the work of the UN and related IGOs.

From 2005 on the Yearbook of Private International Law is published by S.ELP in cooperation with the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law. This English-language annual publication provides analysis and information on private international law developments world-wide. The Editors commission articles of enduring importance concerning the most significant trends in the field. The Yearbook also devotes attention to the important work and research carried out in the context of the Hague Conference, The Hague Academy, UNCITRAL and UNIDROIT. The authority of the editors and the lasting nature of the works included make the Yearbook an integral addition to the libraries of international law scholars and practitioners.

Mandated by General Assembly resolution 1814 (XVII) of 18 December 1962, this book has been published on an annual basis since 1963. It contains documentary materials of a legal character concerning the United Nations and related intergovernmental organizations. The present volume, which is the forty-ninth of the series, covers activities undertaken in 2011 and contains information such as legislative texts and treaties, a general review of the legal activities of the United Nations and related intergovernmental organizations, a list of judgments, advisory opinions and selected decisions rendered by international tribunals, as well as a selected bibliography listing works and articles of a legal character relating to the work of the United Nations and related intergovernmental organizations.
