This pattern is written to fit nearly all child sized feet. This particular pattern will fit a foot that is 4 inches (10 cm) up to 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) in length. That is a toddler size 1 up to a nearly adult size 5, in US sizing. Please note, this isn’t a pattern for beginners, but if you know how to knit a stitch, pick up stitches and knit two stitches together, you should be okay. This is the extra thick version of my very popular Moccasin Slippers with a Cuff pattern. People had requested that this be made into an extra thick version to wear longer and knit up quicker. So I did. You can use either a double strand of worsted weight yarn OR one strand of super bulky yarn to make them. And you can make them from a woman’s size 6 to a man’s size 14. The pattern is knitted on 2 (two) sets of single pointed needles, but don’t worry. I’ve provided a bunch of photos to show you how to do this. It sounds more complicated than it really is. One of the most practical and easy things to knit are slippers. This is a great pattern to practice if you are a new knitter as it only uses very basic stitches.
