Life Times Thru My Eyes

My name is Bob, which I prefer over Robert William Seybold Jr. I wrote this book because I wanted my family and friends to know from my "mouth" that I am gay and was born this way. I had no choice in the matter. I have had to hide this from the people I love, afraid I would lose them once they heard from me personally. They probably have been in denial over my life, guessing and betting that they were right. It was and is my business, but I needed to let them know my side of the story. All my life I had had to hide the truth with employers, family, and friends. Coworkers included. I did not want to be fired or hated. Fear is a terrible thing! So I tried to make my life something special, which I accomplished by writing this book, Life and Times through My Eyes.

This is a story about a girl who was born In Kalamazoo, Michigan and lived most of her life in the Kalamazoo area. She starts out by telling a little about her parents and where they came from. Then she shares her memories of what she was told about her being an infant. Then she continues to tell about her memories of growing up. She had to care for her sister and brothers at a very young age. There is also many other things she shares. The places she lived, the good times she had, the many travels she went on, falling in love, having children, remarrying, caring for step-children, and then becoming a grandmother. She also shares with the readers the dangerous things she does and the scary things that happened. She had to grow up too soon, experienced unwanted sexual encounters, her first husbands betrayal, and divorce.

The poems, short stories, and sayings in this book are the product of one man's thought and dreams; but once you read them, you'll wonder who that man could be, because you'll find that they could pertain to anyone—even those reading them. They are a collection of life thoughts that could—and in some cases, should—cross everyone's mind. When reading, you will find that they truly do pertain to all mankind. They are a reference for life.

My life through my eyes of healing my body and mind. Medical freedom is a choice and should be honored in that manner.Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer I decided I needed to do what I felt was the right thing to do! I feel that cancer was a blessing to me to help others see, everyone's journey is their own and no one should tell them otherwise.

As I travel across north America, operating a tractor and trailer, hauling consumer goods, I come across many events of the human spirit and so I write about what I see, hoping that it may, make you cry, make you laugh, make you think about life and how precious it is.

This is a story about a young girl. She went by the name of shorty, baby girl and other names that she had accumulated while she was on the streets. She was twenty-eight years old when she started to write this book. She thought that she was invisible, that nothing could touch her but she was wrong. She has two brothers that is older than her named Scott and Curtis. She was her mamma's baby girl. She was born in Greenville, SC but raised in Anderson, SC on March 11, 1982. She had been in the system her whole teenage years. She had been in the county jail don't know how many times. She has been to prison four times. She is HIV positive and Hepatitis C. She is also a drug recovery addict. She has been positive for ten years when she started this book. She found out that she was HIV positive when she was eighteen years old. She likes to write poetry, listen to music, read books and play sports especially with her brothers. She was a tom boy. She did what her brothers did. That young girl is me.
