In the fast-moving pace of the world in which we now live, oftentimes we find ourselves overwhelmed with troubles, trials, sorrow, and grief. A feeling of desperation to overcome these situations can lead us in the wrong direction. We all have experienced or seen that the world can be a cold, cruel place, and if we are trying to make it on our own, we are destined to fail. The Light in the Dark is a heartfelt, soul-wrenching collection of poetry filled with hope, love, a promise for eternity sublime, and the poignancy of the pain and detrimental effects that can be inflicted by society.
