So great is this flood that one feels that some very good excuse indeed is needed before one adds even a single drop to the ocean of verbiage. There can be only two excuses - either something new can be told, or something old can be put more clearly than it has been put before. I hold myself especially fortunate in that, to a great extent, I can avail myself of the former pretext and can claim the privileges of the pioneer.
