The editors'standpoint allows the consideration of equity in education as the foremost expression of social justice in this era of economic and technological globalization regardless of political or cultural contexts. This project continues the tradition of critical social pedagogy in creating common ground that accesses new approaches to political and classroom-based relations of power and praxis.

Curriculum Design and Praxis in Language Teaching presents a variety of methodologies and theoretical perspectives for current and future postsecondary instructors in the areas of linguistics, second-language acquisition, and world literatures. Offering valuable insights for instructors, the materials presented in this book integrate perspectives and resources from various target languages, world regions, and cultures into areas related to teaching and learning within the field of language. Liminal Spaces and Call for Praxis(ing) follows the theme of the Curriculum & Pedagogy conference that highlighted issues of power, privilege, and supremacy across timelines and borders. This volume comprises of an interconnected mosaic of theoretical research and praxis. Facing the current and future challenges of corporatization of education, it becomes imperative to identify and deconstruct elements that provide more responsive and fertile ground for a research and praxis based mosaic of pedagogy.
