The opening keynote presentation is given by Dr Charles Clarke, Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and Programme Convenor, University of Roehampton, UK on the topic of Employability by Design: A Strategy for Career Ownership in Cyber. The second day of the conference will open with an address by Dr Brett Van Niekerk, Noëlle Van der Waag-Cowling and Dr Trishana Ramluckan speaking on Multidisciplinarity and Multistakeholderism for Cyber Resilience of Emerging Economies: Lessons from Cyber Challenges. With an initial submission of 105 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 41 Academic research papers, 5 PhD research papers, 4 Masters research paper and 3 work-in-progress papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers represent research from Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, India, Japan, Lithuania, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, South Africa, Spain, Netherlands, UK and USA.

The conference was due to be held at University of Chester, UK, but due to the global Covid-19 pandemic it was moved online to be held as a virtual event. These proceedings represent the work of researchers participating in the 15th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ECCWS 2016) which is being hosted this year by the Universitat der Bundeswehr, Munich, Germany on the 7-8 July 2016. ECCWS is a recognised event on the International research conferences calendar and provides a valuable plat-form for individuals to present their research findings, display their work in progress and discuss conceptual and empirical advances in the area of Cyberwar and Cyber Security. It provides an important opportunity for researchers and managers to come together with peers to share their experiences of using the varied and ex-panding range of Cyberwar and Cyber Security research available to them.
