Editors or board members should not be involved in editorial decisions about their own scholarly work. Journals should establish and publish mechanisms and clearly defined policies for handling submissions from editors, members of their editorial boards, and employees.

In recent era scholars are often facing a regulations/guideline evolved for academics by various statutory bodies/ institutions. The scholars have to cope up with it and consistently keep their learning pace optimum.
