Adapted from Hendrik Van Loon's Story of Mankind, Let Me Tell You the Real Story of Mankind recounts world history in the familiar style of a grandfather telling his grandchild a captivating story. It thus engages the student in a way that more traditional world history textbooks fail to do. Furthermore, Let Me Tell You the Real Story of Mankind does so in a way that is true to Biblical Christianity. It is written from the perspective that the Biblical account of history is the infallible word of God. World history is indeed God's providential creation, and it should be passed down through the generations. As a special bonus, this children's world history textbook has a free online teacher's manual and student test pages at https: //www.puritans.net/puritans-home-school-curriculum/ (catalog# 1016).These resources offer Christian homeschools and regular schools an excellent way to teach world history and reinforce the Biblical account of history.

The Mightiest Hoax in the History of Mankind This book is recommended Reading for Students of Comparative Religion. and anyone interested in the truth, as it Deciphers Truth from Falsehood. Up until the 16th Century there were no translations of the Bible in English .When Tyndale translated the Bible into English he was declared a heretic, was hunted down and eventually strangled and burnt to death on October 6th, 1536. We can only conclude that this act of the Church was done because when the people read and under stood what was written in the Bible they refused to believe it as the Word of God. In similar manner, when Galileo invented the telescope and concluded that the world was round and revolved around the sun, he was also declared a heretic and killed as this theory (which later proved to be a fact) went against the teachings of the Bible that propounded the belief that the earth was flat and stationery. Eusebius and other Church fathers, it is reasonable to believe, would not hesitate to make what alterations were necessary in the writings and records of the cult to bring them into line with the creeds they produced. Honesty and accuracy, as we understand them, did not exist in those days. For three hundred years prior to Nicaea no historical records existed, so there was no great difficulty in deluding the people as to the past story of the cult. Anything could be added to or subtracted from its past beliefs without undue comment. J. Arthur Findlay. There you have it, from the pens of learned CHRISTIAN SCHOLARS that the present Bible is the work of ordinary men and can never be divine. What additional proof could any intelligent person need to disqualify every Bible in existence as the word of God in any language! Can any sensible person argue with such irrefutable evidence?

This comprehensive classic textbook represents the most recent approaches to the biblical world by surveying Palestine's social, political, economic, religious and ecological changes from Palaeolithic to Roman eras. Designed for beginners with little knowledge of the ancient world, and with copious illustrations and charts, it explains how and why academic study of the past is undertaken, as well as the differences between historical and theological scholarship and the differences between ancient and modern genres of history writing. Classroom tested chapters emphasize the authenticity of the Bible as a product of an ancient culture, and the many problems with the biblical narrative as a historical source. Neither "maximalist" nor "minimalist'" it is sufficiently general to avoid confusion and to allow the assignment of supplementary readings such as biblical narratives and ancient Near Eastern texts. This new edition has been fully revised, incorporating new graphics and English translations of Near Eastern inscriptions. New material on the religiously diverse environment of Ancient Israel taking into account the latest archaeological discussions brings this book right up to date.

A Book Report, written for people who would like to read the whole Bible, but find its 774,000+ words a bit overwhelming. This writing is an attempt to condense the mass and complexity of the Bible to less than 36,000 words, including comments and notes to connect various Bible passages that refer to the same subject. In order to condense the subject material, much of the historical and geographical material has been avoided, as well as genealogies and details of human failures.

This book touches on what I believe, are main points of the Bible in the development of mankind. There may be parts that you would like to explore deeper in the Bible. I included book, chapter and verse before each sentence that comes from the Bible. This will give you a place to start. As in the days of Noah, God told Noah to build an ark because God was going to destroy the earth. God will tell Jesus that he has seen and heard enough prepare for your "Second Coming." The rapture of the "First fruits of God will come." The Last days on earth will eventually happen. As in the days of Noah, the Lord will get tire of the sinfulness of mankind. The rapture of the church will come. This will be the end. When will these events come to pass, there is no way to know. That decision is in the hands of the Lord God. If you do not want to know the truth about how the world will end, do not read the last chapter. The proof is recorded in the Bible and will be revealed as it unfolds in this book. Tyrone Fuller Brown: Born in Texarkana, Arkansas in 1955. Graduated High School in 1973. Graduated from Texarkana College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration in 1990. Graduated from ETSU and Texas A&M Texarkana with a BAAS Degree in 1993. Work for the Defense Department from 1975 to 2001 finished my Federal time up with the Treasury Department as an Inspector and Justice Department as an Investigator 2001 to 2011. I enjoy building and making things and dabble in small farming projects. I would say: Sharing the truth in the Bible inspired me to write these books.
