The Bigfoot Blunder

The truth is out there ... maybe. Charlie Rhodes has a lot going on. The recent college graduate just landed her dream job. That's right. She's a bona fide monster hunter. No, you read that right. In this book, I will present a memoir of the continuation of a Minnesota Bigfoot researcher's 30-year journey since the publication of my last books, as well as my thoughts and observations on other aspects of the whole Bigfoot field. There is a chapter on the Minnesota Iceman case, which actually has only a tenuous connection to the state but which I felt it my responsibility to investigate, and also one on the famous California Patterson-Gimlin film which I am fascinated with and have delved into because of my deep interest in Bigfoot photos and films even though I am an outsider. But what most people do not know is that Sasquatch represented two tribes of primitive Indians that lived deep in the mountainous Saskahaua District of British Columbia. One tribe spoke something akin to the Douglas dialect. To the Indians they were giants. The irony, however, is that to the shorter races of the Pacific Northwest giant always meant 6 and a half feet tall. Anthropologists, sociologists and journalists have written books and chronicled sightings and endorsed footprints that depended on White Man's mistake of thinking giant meant something 8 or 9 feet tall. But author Gian J. Quasar takes up the pen of an historian for Recasting Bigfoot and exposes 50 years of modern myth. Seeking primary sources he discovers the actual footprint of the Sasquatch was preserved long before the hype of Bigfoot and popular myth.
