This book discusses the analysis of consumer behavior as a fundamental tool to build agility in business models and strategies. Exploring recent scientific developments in neurobehavioral research, this book argues that the development of agile marketing strategies requires an examination of neurobehavioral experiences in visual merchandising, shopping, and consumption, and an understanding cognitive synchronization with emotions, such as eye movements, gestures, verbal manifestation, and encoding behavior among consumers. The author discusses possible approaches to measure neuro-responses during a consumer’s shopping experience, both in-store and online. Such approaches will help firms to understand real-time neurobehavioral effects and improve the marketing capabilities of the firm accordingly. Discussing new strategies suitable to co-create agile business models in association with the market players and consumers, this interdisciplinary work engages scholarship on business agility, consumer behavior, social intervention, collective intelligence, decision-making, and stakeholder values.

This book examines the butterfly effect in China's modern economic development during the period of 1978–2018. In chaos theory, the butterfly effect refers to a phenomenon that a butterfly flaps its wings in Okinawa, and subsequently a storm may ravage New York. Deng applied a trivial idea, called the market mechanism, to China’s countryside in 1978. The idea has subsequently caused economic structural changes and fast growth in the economy with the largest population in human history. China’s per capita GDP jumped from $100 in 1978 to over US$8,000 in 2018. Eight hundred million people have made a great escape from poverty. By 2018, China was the world’s second-largest economy from its 10th position in 1978 with its 9 per cent average annual growth rate of GDP in the previous four decades. This illuminating book will be of value to economists, scholars of China, and historians.

The title refers to the tiniest significance of a motion that can turn out to be the mightiest force to create a cosmic revolution like the Big Bang! To share the voices from multiple disciplines of liberal arts, the book and the website (blankvoices.com) are designed with certain aesthetics. Therefore, this anthology is divided into four chapters: Verses, Voices, Visions, and Visuals. The first chapter, ‘Verses’, is the art of poetry where poets take the floor to provide readers a vibrant and vivid poesie ride! The second chapter, ‘Voices’, includes any sort of proses like short stories, interviews, letters, reflections, memoirs, anecdotes, travelogues, and so on. The third section, ‘Visions’, covers experimental media of artwork, painting, installation, crafting, and so on. The final chapter, ‘Visuals’, exhibits the audiovisual documented stories (in the website) and photo-stories (in this book) of life and love, of toils and joy! The idea of such an anthology publication came up during the first phase of the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020. Farzana Ahmed Julie, Co-Founder and Advisory Editor of Blank Voices, pitched the concept of its birth. Since then, the process has been on the sail, and here comes its first flight!
