To these persons, and even to persons who do not themselves own property in Australasia but have relations who own property there, it may often be of importance to know what is the law of the colony in which the property is, as to wills, succession in case of intestacy, the duties to be paid, and obtaining probate or letters of administration. It is for the use of such persons that this work is intended. The preliminary part is of a wider scope. The Author is indebted to the Hon.
