The Lord Of Glory

My husband and I were blessed to spend three months in Israel during the summer of the year 2000 where we experienced the presence of God in a powerful and awesome way. From this experience the Holy Spirit has inspired me to write this book about His Glory. In this book you will learn how to enter into the presence of the Lord and how to abide and stay there. I will share with you how God demonstrates His glory through what He has created, and you will learn how it is possible to stand and receive divine revelation in His presence. In the last chapter of this book you will learn all about Jesus, the King of Glory! After all, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the King of Glory, and its all about Him. My pastor at The Potters House Church of God in Columbus, Ohio, has instilled in me a great love and hunger for the Word of God, so this book on the Glory of God contains many Scripture verses to support my thoughts. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to share it with all of you. I hope and pray that you enjoy it, grow from it, and get closer to God through it.

Christians today make strong professions of the Lord being their only God and that they serve him faithfully. Unfortunately, however, many of these same Christians have little to no relationship with and knowledge of God. This is largely do in part because they do not truly know who he is. Contrary to the modern-day pharisees that tell us that he is too hard to understand, this book, in very meticulous detail, will lay out in a very easy to understand manner of learning who the Creator God is. "The Lord of Glory" covers hundreds upon hundreds of scriptures from numerous books of the Holy Bible, and nothing else, to accurately present the Lord as he describes himself in his word. Over the course of three sections, Jacob M. Thompson, explains not just the Lord himself, but how he created us, and refutes some of the false depictions of the Lord people have been led to believe. If you have ever wanted to get to know the Creator God above, without all the annoying and convoluted scholarly jargon, this is definitely the book for you!

Who is Jesus Christ? You've never met Him in person, and you don't know anyone who has. But there is a way to know who he is. How? There is now a substantial scholarly consensus for the emergence of a high or divine Christology very early and from a Jewish context, but the questions of "how" and "why" need further study. He explains how early Christians proclaimed the deity of Jesus within their monotheistic Jewish context. He then identifies socio-rhetorical reasons for and practical consequences of the monotheistic deification of Jesus.

God has provided a way for all people, not just scholars, to know that the Bible is the Word of God.
