Deeper and deeper as the human spirit roams with fascination unto Divinity. Never enough roaming! This is my eleventh book of Christianity and the human brain. As a neurosurgeon for thirty years, I have found unlimited bonds between the Christian Divinity and the human brain. My neurosurgical humanity eagerly desires to explore Divinity. Since my childhood goes back decades and is deeply rooted, I meditate with my Christian brain searching for common understanding of spirituality in humanity. It is hard to describe this through each book and I find myself seeking more Divine clarifications. My meditation is achieved thorough reading the Holy Bible with my neurosurgical human brain. I try to peel my deep thoughts layer by layer as if I am dissecting the human brain in neurosurgery in actual life. The book touches on many timely aspects of our human life with personal spiritual views and poems. The book consists of Twelve major Sections and each section ranges from 8 to 23 chapters with total of 137 chapters. The main sections include: My Christian Dreams in Neurosurgery, Monasticism in My Life, Mothers and Children: Angels Living, Human Brains and Spirituality, Jesus Love, The Persecuted Christ and Christ Followers, Royalty and Heavens with Jesus, Last Hours in humanity, Spiritual Reflections, Views and Poems, Law and the Spirit, Sacred Medicine and Patients Testimonials. As a Coptic Christian from Egypt, I was raised in keeping up with strong Christian Orthodox practice in daily living. Perhaps the strength of the book is incorporating Jesus the Almighty God in everything I do, not only in daily living but also with my patients in Neurosurgery practice. There is a dire need of such a book especially in an era where Christianity continued to be persecuted worldwide and denied in a daily basis as evidenced through public restraining of Lord Jesus Christ in our daily life. The human brain and Neurosurgery are in Jesus God as Christ the Lord is in human brain and Neurosurgery. I hope for the reader to find spiritual use of the book and a closer relationship to our Holy Trinity: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

My journey is documented in this two-volume book numbers 14th and 15th of my series “Christianity and the Human Brain”. My journey is a testimony to Lord Jesus who took me by the hand from being a dismal soul to a renown neurosurgeon and anesthesiologist through a dream I had in 1974 with his words: “Son study all these books in my hand and I shall bless you and bless your patients”. Today, 35 years later, I continue to dedicate my life to my Lord, my patients and the residents I mentor. The fulfillment of my joy is when my Almighty helps me to care for my patients and guides my hand in both neurosurgery and the teaching of coming generations. There are many stories and reflections to share with you. Lessons learned in various topics. It is my honor to share with you my journey and my Joy. The two volume books contain 181 chapters, distributed in twenty sections (ten in each volume) covering major highlights in my life journey. In addition to deep reflections from my own life stories in faith and medicine, topics include Jesus, love, patient care, the human brain, neurosurgery, illness, residents, healthcare crises, meditations and memories over four decades. I hope you, the reader, to take the positives of my journey and find it useful to your own journey as a participant sojourning in this world with me. This is the twelfth book of the series “Christianity and the Human Brain.” It integrates the neuroscience and the Bible, the Holy Book of our Lord Jesus. My love for our Lord, Jesus Christ, abides with my lifetime passion for neurosurgery and medicine, my continual obsession of spiritual connectivity of the Holy Spirit to the human brain that indeed separates mankind from all other living creation. It has been my belief that the human brain does not limit itself to the physical skull but rather extends in a nonphysical form to the outside spiritual world, even while living on earth. In other words, a big part of the human brain is actually outside the skull and the body. As I perform brain surgeries for three decades, I realize my theory is so true. The majestic human brain can’t be just the 1,500 grams of jelled matter inside the skull. The human journey, therefore, is transforming the human brain to become a brain of a man of God and the hand of man to a hand of a man of God. The spiritual human brain never dies, only the flesh. It is the center of my calling and unrelenting meditations while roaming in the heartfelt spirit lacking the physical proof that science demand of me. My life is dedicated to my Lord Jesus, patients, and residents. As a physician, I have reached the top in America, I am a professor of both neurological surgery and anesthesiology, and I am well-published in famous medical journals. As an academic teacher, I trained for more than thirty-four years, graduating thousands of trainee. But all is nothing as I strive for the Christian holiness and fullness. In a weeping healthcare with many patients’ falling victims, I included actual patients’ miracles, testimonials, and sincere quotes as a testament to the Almighty and the dire need for faith and integral goodhearted medicine. This book is full of many vibrant stories that I love to share. It is timely since I consider my generation soon will be viewed obsolete to the future generations, and what will remain are the books I authored. The book is a text of wealth covering broad and diverse topics of my life’s journey in 134 chapters and organized over 14 sections. So many chapters are written about my special love for Lord Jesus Christ and His children. In poems, deep reflections, and spiritual release of mind, I wrote extensively. In fact, I shut my senses and impersonated the human brains of the men of God and the children of the Most High in their prominent biblical stories. A special section is dedicated to the mothers, newborns, and little children. While my soul is grieving, a section is designated on the ongoing Christian persecution, especially the genocide of Christians in my country Egypt, the ancient region of the Middle East, and the oldest historic continent of Africa. Furthermore, I wrote some of my dreams and thoughts that I couldn’t otherwise convey for one reason and another, such as neuroscience in aerospace and some of the timely, touching subjects like drug overdose, human trafficking, and healthcare crises. Few chapters included are about my personal views and introducing spirituality into the recent turmoil in politics. Friends, human life starts with love and ends with eternal love for our Savior. It is never enough to share our love, write about love, and talk about actual love stories of heavenly roses, joy, Christmas, healing touch, miracles, and our calling for his purpose. This is what my twelfth book is all about.

Towards the end of 2019, I started to feel that the Lord, our God, had had enough of the stubborn and stiff necked people as their wickedness, rebellion, and disobedience continued against him and his son. These actions were a resemblance of the days of Noah, Sodom, Gomorrah, and Nineveh. I felt that Jesus, the son of God, no longer had a home here on Earth. There was no place for him in homes, playgrounds, workplaces, and sadly, no home in the churches that worshipped his holy name. I witnessed the wrath of God against Satan, beginning with the apocalyptic fires in Australia that killed millions of animals and destroyed the beautiful land. I began to warn the world through my posts starting on January 5, 2020. I knew his wrath would continue, this time by way of an apocalyptic pandemic that would kill thousands of people. I began to dream about the looming crisis and started to share with the world through my social media. I decided to write my first post on January 30, 2020 relating to the pandemic, calling for a worldwide chain of prayer. I knew the Coronavirus pandemic could not be treated and that many casualties could be expected. I could feel that God was angry while Satan was elated at the state of our world. Following my posts in January of 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began evolving. I continued to cry out to the world, but was attacked, mocked, and threatened as people accused me of spreading rumors. I was told to stop, as people said, “This virus is nothing. It’s just another flu.” Others said, “You’re supposed to be a scientist and should know that the seasonal flu takes the lives of thousands every year. This Coronavirus is no threat.” I wished that they all would see what I see and hear what I hear, but few did. I decided to record all of my thoughts, dreams, nightmares, prayers, reflections, and predictions about this dangerous and lethal pandemic that the world was trying to dismiss. This book consists of 73 chapters across under ten sections, contain all of my posts in the order that they were written as well as my notes regarding what I have seen beginning in January 2020 until now, including my thoughts on the post-pandemic era. Some of my predictions have already occurred while others have yet to be seen. I believe that the message we should receive from all of this is that the world must look to our God, the almighty, and his son, Jesus, our Savior. The son shall return and God will lift his wrath as we all go through our journey of repentance here on earth for our salvation lies with the blood of Jesus. Only recently I have started to receive calls in which the people that doubted me have apologized that they did not listen sooner. They have seen that I knew what was coming and tried to warn them. While the Coronavirus pandemic continues, I pray that the Lord will have mercy upon our people and upon the face of the earth.

It is the author’s final documentary book on COVID-19, number Eight as it ended! A total series of Eight books covering, from author’s perspective, the entire journey, since the very beginning of SARS-COV-2 Late 2019. Memoirs are written as events had occurred and interpreted with the author’s personal views and experiences. The book contains much of the author’s philosophically and spiritual meditations as well. The last year of COVID Pandemic is an interesting transition to what is known as the “New Norm”. Although it is gone but the historic flashback of the global pandemic, is a living reality and my eight books shall be forever be documentaries to the coming generations of what the world has went through and how we all together in faith in our Lord Jesus survived its brutality! There is so much happening as we the people of the world continue to evolve through COVID-19, with it, undoubtedly, being one of the most catastrophic events of modern times. This book is a continuation of my previous book titled; “Coronavirus: The Pandemic of the Century and the Wrath of God”. It recalls actual stories and memories thus far as mankind continues to evolve from the gloominess of COVID-19. This book represents my thoughts, views and various life events that I wish to share with you all. As a neurosurgeon and an anesthesiologist working the front lines within three major medical centers of the greater metropolitan area of Chicago, I have, without hesitancy, never closed my doors to my patients. My faith in our Lord Jesus and my abounding love to my patients, residents, and students has kept me going and strengthened my soul. During COVID and as the world coming out of COVID, it was a good time to flash back in marvelous works of our Lord, my patients stories and my achievements, performances, lessons learned. This book is centered in deep Christian rituals and meditations consisting of 115 chapters distributed over 12 sections touching on various topics that have passed through my mind during the evolution of COVID-19. These topics range from what I deem, critical COVID, all the way to vaccines, political COVID, and concomitant events as well as my personal memoirs, patient care, and the living stories of my patients. This book is my life story, as a Coptic Christian, raised in Egypt. Where no one from my family has ever moved away for thousands of years through the rise and falls of ancient pharaohs and deep roots of ancient Christianity. It is also the story of my parents raising 10 children since 1953 in an environment of extreme poverty where resources and opportunities were limited with unrelenting prejudice towards Christian minorities. So, I came to the United States, the land of opportunity, and became a prominent American neurosurgeon among the only 4000 active nationwide and the only one nationally and internationally to achieve five board certifications in five acknowledged medical disciplines. I continue to practice and serve the mission set before me. My home land was once prosperous and rich in history. Over the centuries, it joined the downfall of the majority of the developing countries of the world through its economic crises and injustices to many. It was the land for the fathers of early Christians and the foundation for worldwide Christians. Now the Coptic Christians are considered a minority constituting a mere 10% of the population and are joining the exodus of ancient Christians from their native African continent. This book chronicles my journey from the land of history, the land of my birth, to the land of opportunity, America. It outlines the socioeconomic and political changes that Egypt has seen over the last century. It is my hope that others may find inspiration and understanding of my culture through reading this book. I owe it all to Christ, the Lord, my cherished parents, my family and friends, my teachers, my mentors, and especially my beloved patients.
