This textbook on Angiography and Endovascular Therapy for Peripheral Artery Disease provides a comprehensive angiographic approach to assess and determine optimal treatment strategies for peripheral artery disease (PAD). Each chapter focuses on angiography as it relates to the outcomes of endovascular work. It is an overview of the results obtained from a large number of actual cases with over 100 angiographic images of aortoiliac, femoropopliteal, below-the-knee, and below-the-ankle artery disease. Diagnostic and angiographic images of nonatherosclerotic PAD are also included. Anyone who is engaged in or preparing to engage in endovascular work for PAD should find this book useful as a reference and as an instruction material.

The anatomic structure of the vascular supply of the pelvis has long been the subject of study. Progress in angiography rendered it a valu able diagnostic aid. Nevertheless, angiography is finding new applica tions in combination with the technique of superselective catheteriza tion, opening the way for interventional angiography. Remarkable as this may prove, one must not overlook the difficulties involved, most of which essentially result from insufficient knowledge of the anatomic structure concerned: the pelvic arteries are particularly pro b lema tic owing to their complexity and multiple variations. For this reason we here attempt to chart precisely the course of each artery supplying the pelvis and to provide a synthetic study of the different vascular territories. The book is completed by some pathologic exam ples which illustrate the sometimes very important role of embolization in therapy. In this book we examined a periprocedural complication of coronary angiography, and coronary intervention. That includes related to cardiac catheterization and diagnostic coronary angiography, and those that occur as a consequence of the specific equipment. However, improvements in devices, the use of stents, and aggressive antiplatelet therapy have significantly reduced the incident of major periprocedural complications. This book giving knowledge and experiences many of interventional cardiologists from all over the world, and provide possibility to recognize new approach in this domain. Book gives lecture on how we image and how we decide on what to treat, how to treat it, and then results of that treatment. They offer many answers to what we have today and what we will have tomorrow.

Cardiac catheterization and coronary angiography remain key tools in the management of patients with coronary heart disease. Although this is the most frequently used method of coronary revascularization, general training in cardiology rarely offers more than the opportunity to assist a more senior operator to perform angioplasty procedures. This textbook, covering key procedures and fully revised and updated to include the latest trials, technology, and new techniques, is essential reading. The Oxford Textbook of Interventional Cardiology, 2nd edition spans the whole spectrum of interventional cardiology procedures, including a novel section on the future of interventional cardiology, and multiple new chapters covering special devices in percutaneous coronary intervention. Written by an expert team of international authors, this book offers guidance on all aspects of interventional cardiology according the European curriculum, and covers the evidence-based guidelines for a comprehensive view of the field.
