A young boy is awakening to strange noises every night, in the woods behind his house. He hears rocks clacking together and tree branches breaking. He followed them into the woods and for the first time he saw the monster peek out at him from behind a tree. The boy's not sure if he should make friends with him or wait for another day...or next month...or maybe...even...next year. Pat Henkel has lived in Central Oregon for 17 years.
