There S Always Hope

Theres's Always Hope teaches about the joy of life even if things don't go exactly as planned. Sydney's story will touch the hearts of both children and adults as they read about how she overcomes an obstacle she didn't expect. This book inspires hope in readers and teaches empathy for the physically disabled.

Starting with a personal life experience, the book explains biblical hope by showing that Jesus is more than our only hope. He IS Hope.

Thirty-one years ago (August 3, 1981) my life changed so drastically that I thought I’d never recover and never again be the wife and mother that I had always hoped to be. In order for you to know the contents of this book, I’ll cut right to the chase. I had a complete mental and emotional breakdown, the results of which left me with some horrible, almost unbearable effects that I could never ever have handled on my own. Prior to writing this book, I don’t think I’ve ever written anything except a few poems in high school (and they certainly were not very great). I’ve been told over the years that I should write a book about my life, but the main reason I’m writing this is because I feel that the Lord told me to do this. Therefore, I feel that I am obeying Him, and I found out “There’s Always Hope”.

No Hope. I struggled. I Failed. I encouraged myself to believe in the positives however I carried on being unsuccessful. Well, my names Isaac. High school was a rocky journey for me. Mistakes and troubles were common things I was attached to. Aged 12 and excluded permanently from High School. Guilt overtook me which led to misery. This is the journey of my high school life and what I had been up to. Despite all of the mistakes, I had found a positive path and put myself back on track. Chasing the dreams, thinking the big, I achieved.

This book is an instruction manual (toolkit) for caregivers of troubled youth or youth who need hope. It is a companion book to “No Matter What There’s Always Hope”, a hope-based interactive devotional for young people who have lost hope or feel hopeless due to childhood trauma or adverse childhood circumstances. It is designed to instill or renew hope and to give caregivers tools and strategies to help youth overcome the Terrible Ds (despair, despondency, depression, disappointment, discouragement, disheartenment, and disillusionment.)
