The Color of Life: Blood and Tears is a collection of poems by Laura A. Fisher that were written between the years of 2008–2009. It has two chapters. In the first chapter, the poems speak about different aspects of life. It speaks of life’s structure, genuine happiness, love, slavery, and many other things. In the second chapter, the poems speak about the painful aspects of life. It speaks of heartache, sadness, instability, slavery, death, and many other things. This book is part of my personal collection; other books include Life, Love and Letting Go and In the Heart of a Glass Knight.

As the second book of the poetry series, Deeply Scarred Pictures, Painful Sorrow. These poems reflect my life, in small moments at a time. They express my life, or the life of others around me that has no voice, but their stories needed to be told. My poems represent the struggles in my life, my fight through an abusive childhood, my troubled youth, being brought up in a home of poverty and violence. They represent my battle through prison, fighting for my freedom. These books represent my broken heart, and my battle with depression. These books tell the stories of broken relationships Ive had, and the endless pain that thrives from them. Lost love, along with the sadness of my experiences in life. My books, tell my story about homelessness, by battle with cancer, my close and sad relationship with alzheimers and dementia, and my battle with heart disease. These books tell my story, and in hopes that other will know that theyre not alone in their pain. The words deeply scarred pictures, they are my way of describing painful memories that stick with you, they are fragments and pictures of pain that all tell a story. My poems are those pictures from within me. I always told people that there was a purpose for all the pain Ive experienced in my life, that my pain would be my success. When I express myself in poetry, my pain flows out of me threw the tip of my pen, on to the paper, and it releases pressure, and I feel so much better. My gift to the world is my poems. I dont want anybody to ever feel as if they are alone, the fact is that, I share their pain.

Moreover, even the Bible mentions this statue and its curse. Because, 2000 years ago in 79 AD, when Pompeii and the entire Italian peninsula were destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius and were buried under the lava, this Devil had already contacted the world with the nightmares of a little child and led it to destruction. Elsa finally goes into a trance and communicates with the spirit of this child, whose name is Gabriel, and everyone finally learns the truth and how these Nightmares and the Devil can be stopped: To go inside Mount Vesuvius, which is active again after 2000 years later, And to destroy this stone statue by droping into the centre of the volcano, into the lava. However, this will not be easy at all. Because, a very secret and mysterious Order, which dates back to the Knights Templar and their continuation, has been after this statue for centuries. Moreover they actually worship this statue and one night they secretly kidnap it from John Smith's house. Meanwhile, the nightmares are getting worse and a great catastrophe is fast approaching.
