Congresswoman and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz challenges the nation to resolve tough issues for future generations. America has witnessed the dangers that come with shortsightedness, writes Debbie Wasserman Schultz in For the Next Generation. If we want to ensure prosperity for ourselves and an improved way of life for young Americans, we have to change, starting now. We must: · Create jobs · Turned around our economy · Formulate a long-term energy solution · Reform immigration policies · Enhance and expand health-care coverage Yet these important issues have been sidelined by gridlock in a Congress that is too concerned about the next election to worry about the future. The group of Americans who have the most to lose from this dysfunction are the ones least represented in government: America's children. For the Next Generation is a call to action, one mother's challenge to her congressional colleagues and to the rest of the nation, to adopt a parent's perspective for doing right by kids. Marked by clarity and by Debbie's characteristic poise, this polemic is informed by the congresswoman's own personal and professional experiences. It digs deep, exposing very real threats that America faces as a result of its failure to confront tough decisions. Debbie conveys a vision of an America that has learned hard lessons from its recent past, an America galvanized by a renewed sense of purpose for applying that wisdom through forward-thinking policies on education, civil rights, and foreign policy. She describes how she will fight to overcome the legislative obstacles that inhibit progress, and she calls upon fair-minded Americans to lend their own strengths to securing a better tomorrow for the next generation.

An examination of how our thoughts and emotions are manipulated by politicians, media, and celebrities. Generation of Idiots was written to expose the persuading forces that move Americans today and distort the young minds of tomorrow. Great men such as Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson used to inspire young minds, not use them for their own personal gain. Our country hangs in the balance, unless we find great patriots like that again to lead us back into prosperity. This book may raise your blood pressure or make you laugh, but it will also make you think-and thats the objective.

This book is about waking up God's children. "And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed." Romans 13:11 KJ It is time to wake up His slumbering bride. We have been lulled to sleep by the enemy of our souls and been caught unaware. The enemy has come in just under the wire, not to be seen. I believe the Lord God Almighty has stated to Wake up and warn His children! It is a time to wake up to His call. It is a time to realize our weaknesses. It is a time to stop straying like sheep. It is a time to recognize the tactics of the enemy. It is a time to fight for our family. It is a time to knit together. It is a time to stand. Our country needs a wake up call. It is time to take the blinders off. "He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed," Luke 4:18b NIV This book is power packed with a message for this day and time! The new believer will be captured by the sound of the wake up call and the mature believer will obtain golden nuggets needed for such a time as this. This book has a word for the preparation of the flock. "Wake up His Children" has a warning to be given to the church. "And he (the watchman) sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people." Ezekiel 33:3 NIV This book is written in a thoughtful, from the heart way, for this day and time; a helpful message for everyone.

Black people of America, we need to stop reading books about thug life and street life. We need to read books that will open our minds to ideas and issues that will help us and our families and the future of black generations of this country. Black people of America, we were here before most of the other nationalities that are here now. We should be in a much better financial situation than we are in now. Most of us are at the bottom or near the bottom of the economic scale as a whole. We have to learn from the foreigners that stick together and open up businesses in our community. Plus we have to stop giving our hard-earned money to other nationalities and none to ourselves; in a way, we are still slaves. I wrote this book to inspire Black Americans to open there eyes to the positive changes we need to make to help our families and future black generations in America. This book shows how we are living compared to other nationalities in America, as well as the factors that are holding us back as a whole. We must remember our ancestors and the sacrifices they made when they were slaves. They were the strongest people in the world, and we are their descendants. I feel they were superhuman beings to make that trip from Africa to America. We as black Americans have that same ability in us to survive. Remember, we are the alpha race. We need to wake up and stop hitting the snooze button. May God bless this book and everyone that reads it.

"Wake Up America is a HUGE book. It will help to Make America Great Again." —President Donald J. Trump The New York Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal, and Publishers Weekly Bestseller! Grit, merit, providence, individualism, thrift—and above all, pride in our country: These qualities, among others, are the reason that hundreds of millions of people worldwide look to America for hope, inspiration, and opportunity. But it’s precisely these virtues that now are under attack by the radical Left of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and their followers. America as we know it is eroding before our eyes and becoming what Fox News Channel personality and co-host of “The Five” Eric Bolling calls a “politically correct nanny state.” The rewards for individual achievement and hard work, our basic constitutional rights, religious faith, national identity, and capitalism itself, are being replaced by a dangerous socialistic ideology that is the polar opposite of what our Founding Fathers intended America to be. Wake Up America identifies the nine core virtues of our nation and demonstrates why each one is so important to our history and our future. It’s time for us to wake up and heed the clear-cut warning signs that America is heading in the wrong direction--before we’re too far gone. A celebration of America that is informed by Eric Bolling's personal story, Wake Up America is an urgent call to arms for America's citizens to preserve what makes us great.
