His military schooling includes the Army War College where he received a "Masters of Strategic Studies" in July of 2002. He has been in the ministry as both a Southern Baptist Pastor and Chaplain, with over forty 40 years of service. He brings a wealth of experience to his writing. He has written several "White Papers" for the US Army, and doctrine for the US Army Chaplaincy.
