Samuel Ferguson (1744-1825) emigrated probably from Ireland or Scotland to America. Descendents lived in West Virginia, South Carolina, and elsewhere.

Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, California and elsewhere.

William Rust was born about 1634, probably in Suffolk Co., England and immigrated about 1650 to Westmoreland Co., Virginia. He married twice and died about 1699.
