This book has been reformatted for easier reading."Mr. Darcy! Good morning, sir. I am surprised to see you here," Elizabeth managed to utter although she was shocked by his presence on Oakham Mount. How could he actually be here when he had been on her mind throughout most of the night and since she had awakened this morning? Elizabeth Bennet has been back in Hertfordshire for months and she hasn't been sleeping well. She cannot seem to get Fitzwilliam Darcy, his insulting proposal and his letter of explanation out of her mind. One day, she sets out for her daily walk and finds Mr. Darcy waiting for her on Oakham Mount. He renews his proposal and after another sleepless night, she accepts. As they start their married life in London, all is well until Elizabeth visits the modiste with Lady Matlock and encounters Lady Alice Thornton. From that day forward, misinformation, hurtful comments, Darcy's pride and Elizabeth's self-doubts come together and build a wall between ODC. Will Elizabeth learn the truth about Darcy's apparent betrayal? Can they begin to understand the truth of what has really happened and come to love each other as they once did? Was the Invisible thread which once connected them severed beyond repair?

When author Dawn DiRaimondo, PsyD, lost her brother in 2004, she found only one book on sibling loss. So, she wrote the book she wished she had then. Surviving Sibling Loss: The Invisible Thread that Connects Us Through Life and Death is the gold standard of grief books, helping not only people who are grieving but also their therapists, partners, and friends better support their loved ones. The chapters are deliberately short and full of easy-to-find resources, and the book can be read cover to cover or picked up and put down again. This structure aids those who are struggling, who fatigue and lose focus easily under the weight of their grief. Dr. DiRaimondo is a clinical psychologist whose specialties include working with clients who have experienced significant loss, including the loss of children, siblings, spouses, grandchildren, and young parents. Surviving Sibling Loss interweaves her personal and professional experience and knowledge of bereavement as well as the perspectives of fourteen individuals she interviewed who also lost siblings.

The story begins in Lwów, an important cultural centre of Poland. The city has passed from Polish hands to Russian, then back to being a Polish territory, only to later be handed back to the Russians at the end of World War II. Lwów held the rank of the Second Polish Republic’s third most populous city (after Warsaw and Łódź), and was, at times, second most important cultural and academic centre in Poland. Furthermore, the geographic location of Lwów gave it an important role in stimulating international trade and fostering the city’s and Poland’s economic development. It eventually became part of an independent Ukraine and as I complete this project the same territory is once again being contested with the military might of Russia once again trying to reclaim it. Here is where two families were living their life, unaware of the existence of the other one. What they had to endure before they were able to meet in the end is fascinating and the way fate brought them together is rather surprising. Despite having started in the same city, fate separated them from being aware of one another’s existence until they encountered each other in London.
