This is an open access book. ISST is an annual seminar organized regularly by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University since 2018 in collaboration with University of Newcastle (Australia), University of Miyazaki (UoM), Physics Society of Indonesia, Indonesian Chemical Society (HKI) and Indonesian Mathematical Society (IndoMS). International seminar on science and technology aims to provide a high-level international forum for leading academicians, researchers, scientists, students, scholars, and practitioners to share the state of the art of knowledges, experiences, researches and applications on the aspect of advancement in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry field. It is also serves to foster communication among academicians, researchers, scientists, students, scholars, and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving science and technology in the field of mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Furthermore, this seminar can provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, scientists, students, scholars, and practitioners to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. This seminar has been virtually held since 2020 due to covid-19 pandemic and is continuing to hold virtually following the advice and guidelines from government. However, due to the antusiasm of participants to attend the seminar “face to face”, hence this seminar will be held using hybrid style seminar by following healthcare guideline for covid-19.

We are delighted to present the Proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Innovation in Education, Science and Culture (ICIESC) that organized by Research and Community Service Centre of Universitas Negeri Medan (LPPM UNIMED). Proceedings of the 4th ICIESC contains several papers that have presented at the seminar with theme Education and Science in time of uncertainty: Recovering for the Future. This conference was held on 11 October 2022 virtually and become a routine agenda annually. The 4th ICIESC was realized this year with various presenters, lecturers, researchers and students from universities both in and out of Indonesia. The 4th International Conference on Innovation in Education, Science and Culture (ICIESC) 2022 shows up as a Mathematics and Natural Science, Material Science, Physics Education, Biology Education, Chemistry Education, Vocational Education, Applied Sciences-Computers, Multimedia Technology, Applied Mathematics, E-learning system, Applied Sciences-Information Technology, Applied Sciences-Engineering, Social Science and Humanities, Management Innovation and Heritage Culture research platform to gather presentations and discussions of recent achievements by leading researchers in academic research. With the number participants 260 participants, who came from the various national and international universities member, research institute, and academician. There are 181 papers passed through rigorous reviews process and accepted by the committee. All of papers reflect the conference scopes and become the latest trend. It has been our privilege to convene this conference. Our sincere thanks, to the conference organizing committee; to the Program Chairs for their wise advice and brilliant suggestion on organizing the technical program and to the Program Committee for their through and timely reviewing of the papers. This three-volume set CCIS 1755-1757 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 4th International Conference on Applied Technologies, ICAT 2022, held in Quito, Ecuador, in November 2022. The 112 full papers included in this book were carefully reviewed and selected from 415 submissions. They were organized in topical sections as follows: human computing and information science, IT financial and business management.
